    3. Telstra store staff should advise the customer what they require BEFORE the customer drives all the way in to the store.

    2. not require company letterhead and many businesses are small and do not have letterheads,

    2 days ago I was contacted by the store to say my phone was ready for collection. Was told on arrival that because the phone is on a business account, that I would need a signed letter on letterhead from the Director of the Company. Even having the Director in the store with me would not suffice.

    We live 40 minutes from town. I went in to collect my new HTC phone which the store had forgotten to order the first time when I visited in person. I had to ring 3 weeks later to ask where my phone was only to say they had not ordered it.

    So I had to turn around, go home, produce a letter (which the store would have no way of knowing who signed this anyway) and return to the store to collect my phone. I suggest Telstra change their procedures for this so that;

    1. An email should suffice as this is more reliable today than a letter signed by anyone,

    When I asked why they did not advise me of this on the phone before I left home, they said they would get into trouble if they asked every customer if the phone was for personal or business use and the customers would get very angry. What rot I said. It is far better to ask a question that takes 3 seconds that to have me travel 1.5 hours only to be sent home because you didn't let me know what information you required to release the phone!!!@!
